Order items from our wish lists for delivery to our shelter, for children and families in our programs.
children & youth wish list
All items must be NEW, with the exception of gently-used books and dress-up costumes (for ages 12 months to 13 years). We do not have storage space for clothes; please donate only the clothes listed.
career closet wish list
We can accept new or very gently used career clothing and jewelry. We particularly need women’s petite and larger sized items.
host a donation drive
We invite you to consider hosting a donation drive. Offsite drives at a location convenient for you are easy ways to make an immediate impact, benefiting guest families of People Serving People.
Wish lists are updated regularly to reflect current program needs at both our Emergency Shelter and Center of Excellence locations.
People Serving People welcomes donations year-round, and donors enjoy the convenience of scheduling their donation in advance.

Monday-Friday 7:00 am – 5:30 pm
Saturday 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm

Please donate only those items on the wish lists posted above. We have limited resources to dispose of items we cannot use.
We CANNOT accept the following items:
- Breast pumps
- Baby formula such as Similac: powder within 2 months of expiration date; ready-made (liquid); soy formula
- Car seats
- Cribs & bassinets
- ELECTRONICS (Best Buy stores accept electronics purchased anywhere for recycling)
- FOOD ITEMS (dry and perishable, unless pre-approved by food services staff: call 612.277.0203)
- Furniture, including bed frames, mattresses, and household furnishings
- Stuffed animals
- Toys that are used–only new toys accepted
