Families Volunteering Together Event
Are you looking for ways to introduce volunteerism/philanthropy in your young children? To accommodate families who would like to volunteer at People Serving People, but whose children aren’t old enough for our standard volunteer opportunities, we offer Families Volunteering Together. At the event, children as young as five, supervised by a parent (grandparent, aunt, uncle, etc), can participate in some child-friendly volunteer activities. Registration fees help cover the cost of supplies. Volunteer activities at the event produce items for guests sheltering at or in programs provided by People Serving People.
People Serving People has temporarily suspended most on-site volunteer opportunities. This is to ensure the safety of our guests and community by limiting the number of visitors in and out of our buildings. This has been a difficult change for our outstanding community of volunteers, supporters and our organization. We invite those who are looking to contribute to our organization during this time to make a donation or monetary gift.
