Amy Riccio serves as Director of the Homeless Education Collaborative at People Serving People. With more than 30 years of experience in social work and education, she is dedicated to advancing equitable opportunities and improving outcomes for children, youth, and families experiencing housing instability. Her expertise includes coalition building, grant and fiscal management, data-informed systems design, and trauma-responsive practices.
Before joining People Serving People in 2026, Amy served as the District Homeless Liaison for Moorhead Area Public Schools, where she championed access to basic needs, safe and stable housing, and resources necessary to succeed. Her unwavering commitment to amplifying youth voices and creating pathways for belonging earned her the City of Moorhead’s Moorheart Award and the Youth Works Champion for Youth Award.
Amy holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work, as well as a master’s degree in administration. She is also a master trainer for Sources of Strength, Stand to Protect, and Trauma-Sensitive Schools.
Outside of her role at PSP, Amy loves spending time with her family, connecting with friends, reading a good novel in the sunshine, and baking.
