Volunteer Opportunities for Individuals

An older woman reads "Hidden Figures" to two young children seated on a pink mat in a cozy reading corner.

Supporting families and children

Volunteers help us care for our youngest guests. Whether you help provide childcare for our infants and toddlers, or volunteer with our Youth Engagement Program to support our afterschool activities for our K-12 children, we have a variety of opportunities for you to support our families and our mission.

K-12 Youth Engagement Program volunteers

During the school year, our K-12 youth programming focuses on assisting with coursework and socializing in a safe environment after classes are finished. Successful K-12 volunteers will be patient and comfortable in an unstructured classroom environment, proactive about engaging with kids, and helping guide them into activities.
