Standing With Our Community

People Serving People stands with our Somali community. We will remain steadfast in our values and continue to show up for each other, our families, and our community.

We stand with our Somali and Latine families, friends, and neighbors

People Serving People stands with our Somali community. The federal administration’s continued rhetoric against our Latine community and the recent statements about our Somali community are blatantly racist, and the deployment of ICE to Minneapolis is a hateful attack on our families and community.

To our neighbors who are the subject of these bigoted and discriminatory attacks, we stand with you. To our community members who feel afraid, angry, or sad, we affirm that these feelings are rational indicators that there is something we want to protect. To all, we say that we will remain steadfast in our values and continue to show up for each other, our families, and our community. We will do so until no person or family lives in fear and every person is treated with dignity, including being stably housed.
