People Serving People's CEO Daniel Gumnit was nominated by senior leadership from General Mills to take part in the PDI Ninth House workshop, which was held exclusively for strategic leaders of nonprofit organizations in the Twin Cities area. PDI Ninth House conducted the program at their global headquarters in Minneapolis in January 2012. The Active Leader program engaged participants in a realistic organizational simulation where they were challenged to employ strategic and systems thinking, decision frameworks, and influence skills. The workshop fostered interaction and aimed to build strong relationships among peer leaders.
