Jon Bon Jovi visits with families at People Serving People

On his trip to the Twin Cities for two nights at the Xcel Center, Jon Bon Jovi made an extra stop at People Serving People's shelter in downtown Minneapolis on April 8, 2010.

Joined by leadership from the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation, Jon walked the halls of the shelter as part of his foundation's research mission of finding out "what works" in addressing homelessness throughout the nation. About his shelter visits overall, Jon said that People Serving People's shelter is "by far the most remarkable place I have been."

Jon Bon Jovi's tour of People Serving People is illustrative of his band's Circle Tour. Bon Jovi's latest album showcases songs inspired by the tough economic times affecting the world. Said Jim Minor, President of People Serving People, "Jon made our circle bigger today, this can change the life of a child."
