Donations that can be carried in by the donor are accepted at the Security Desk from 7:30 am - 5 pm Monday - Friday and before 1 pm on weekends. Large deliveries dropped off at the loading dock will only be accepted until 3 pm on weekdays and 1 pm on weekends or by prior arrangement. Our building is located at 614 S 3rd Street on the corner of 3rd Street and Portland Avenue near the riverfront in downtown Minneapolis. There are two entrances to the parking lot - one on 3rd Street and one on Portland Avenue. You can park right in front of the entrance or in any open spot to unload. The Security Guard will provide you with a donor information form to fill out and leave, and a tax receipt to take with you.
eople Serving People no longer accepts furniture donations. We encourage you to contact Sabathani (Family Resources: 612-821-2396) or Bridging (952-888-1105) about your furniture donation. Our guests can use these organizations when they move into permanent housing. Bridging charges a minimum of $75 for pick ups (see their website at www.bridging.org) and Sabathani requires the donor to drop off the items.
If your company or organization would like to do a Drive for our families, please contact us for more information.
